The Bosch Pensionsfonds

In 2002, Bosch was the first German industrial company to set up its own pension fund: Bosch Pensionsfonds AG, a wholly owned subsidiary of Robert Bosch GmbH. This independent pension fund exclusively serves to finance associates’ retirement benefits.

The strategy for success

The Bosch Pensionsfonds is the company pension scheme’s central financing vehicle into which the company contributions and the associates’ contributions are paid.

Bosch takes responsibility for its associates’ future – and that is also reflected in its professional investment strategy. The account balances in the Bosch Vorsorgeplan develop in line with the Pensionsfonds’ investment performance. Associates benefit from the investment returns not only while building up their retirement savings, but also through the Fondsrente (fund-based annuities) once the retirement pension payout phase begins.
